Today

Today I am working on a diaper cake for for one of my aunts. She says shes not creative so....I get to do it.
It's for my cousins fiancés baby shower. I've never done one before so I'm interested to see how it'll turn out. Got to run into town and pick up a few things I need to finish. It needs to be done by Saturday afternoon...and I work everyday until then...so I'm hoping by working on it after work each day, it'll be finished by then. And yes....I am a known procrastinator. I'll sign off for now.....:)
Have a wonderful day. I'll try and post pictures when it's finished!

I know...2 posts in the same day that actually say something...a shocker! Just wanted to post a recipe that is on of my family's favorites. I have several other favorite recipes that I will post later on.
 Sorry.....I don't have any pictures!:)

Apple Dip
(a.k.a Fruit Dip..but we use mostly for apples!:)

4-8oz. pkgs cream cheese, softened
11/2 cups sour cream
1/2 -1 c honey (depends on your preferred sweetness level- I
usually use about 1/2 or a little more.)
1 t. vanilla
1/2 -3/4 t. real orange extract
1 T. freshly grated lemon peel
1/2 c. whipping cream
your choice of fruit.....I usually do apples!:)

Cream the cream cheese until it is smooth. (This is a VERY important step.
otherwise you will end up with lumpy fruit dip...and you just can't have that!)
Mix in the sour cream, honey, vanilla extract, orange extract, and lemon peel.
Mix well, scraping the sides of the bowl. Add whipping cream and mix well,
just until slightly fluffy.Scrape into serving dish.Garnish with more lemon peel if desired.
Serve with your choice of fruit. Enjoy this fattening fruit dip to your heart's content!:)

There are a few variations, which when I have some more time I will post them.

And now...finally here is a picture of my newest nephew, Jasper!:)
He is now over a month old...so yes...he has grown alot since this was taken!:)
(He's 12 lbs now....he was 7lbs, 11oz. when he was born.)
I think he was 10 days old in this picture.

I've been meaning to update..And I was even intending on doing the Feelin' Feminine Challenge last month...but alas...I forgot my password to my blog and the e-mail address associated with it! And suddenly today......I remembered it!! SO I shall see if I can upload some pictures and other things...including picture of my newest nephew, Jasper now 3 weeks old!
Painted...planted flowers...did laundry...and more today. Now I need to get off of here and shower and then head to bed so I don't fall asleep during church tomorrow! Have a wonderful evening and a marvelous Sunday!
Trying to upload pictures....but not able to. I think I need to resize them.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.
